Unsere Geschichte

Hi, my name is Mika, also known as 'your fairy sister'. Why your fairy sister?

These themes have accompanied me throughout my life since childhood: a connection to nature, precious and healing stones, herbs and plants, healing of the body/mind and inner child, astrology and zodiac signs, spirituality, and everything related to these areas. This explains the term "Fairy" in my name.

I feel at home in nature and share my experiences, feelings, and thoughts with you on social media. I'm always looking for new ways to bring you closer to nature or to inspire you. For me, my community feels like family, which is why I felt 'sister' was a fitting name.

materials

I personally collect all the plants, flowers, and herbs. They all come from my own garden and the gardens of friends and family. They are lovingly cultivated, carefully gathered, and gently dried over several weeks before I transform them into beautiful jewelry.

I purchase the settings and accessories from retailers who comply with REACH regulations and use or buy safe materials. For the main material of my jewelry, I chose 304 stainless steel because it is tarnish-resistant, rustproof, and very well tolerated by most people. 304 stainless steel is not nickel-free; it contains approximately 8-10% nickel. This material is not recommended for people with severe nickel allergies, but most people tolerate it without any problems.

I buy the semi-precious and precious stones and minerals from a small family business that I've been a fan of for years. If you're looking for specific minerals, feel free to ask me during my TikTok livestreams.

How your piece of jewelry is created

I work with high-quality, REACH-compliant epoxy resin. In its liquid, uncured state, this material poses a health risk because it undergoes chemical reactions during processing, releasing fumes. Therefore, appropriate protective equipment and ventilation are essential when handling it.

However, once the resin has fully hardened, it is stable and considered safe for normal use - even in skin contact.

Each piece of jewelry is lovingly handcrafted. From the initial design and creation to the finished product, I invest many hours of time and heart into every single piece. Each of my jewelry pieces carries its own unique little story.

Packaging

A personal, handwritten letter relating to the piece of jewelry and the recipient, care instructions, and loving gift wrapping make every yourfairysister order a truly special moment, whether you're treating yourself or someone special. All in a natural style, of course.

Together with Lucid and our system partner Reclay, we make sure to reduce packaging waste and comply with the requirements of the Packaging Act.
